Developed for Salatia, a maritime brand based on Madeira Island dedicated to empowering the community through navigation classes and boat rentals for memorable sea experiences. The brand name, inspired by Salacia the Roman goddess of salt and deep waters reflects connection, exploration, and the beauty of the ocean.
The goal was to animate the Salatia logo for use across the brand’s communication and digital platforms, giving motion to its identity while preserving its calm and elegant essence. The animation captures the rhythm of the sea, fluid, reflective, and timeless, reinforcing the brand’s connection to water and navigation.
The workflow combined Blender and AI-assisted tools to explore motion ideas, refine visual flow, and enhance the creative direction. AI played a supportive role in concept development and style exploration, helping translate the brand’s graphic language into dynamic motion while maintaining full alignment with its identity guidelines.
The final motion design was built around subtle transitions, balanced timing, and organic movement to mirror the natural fluidity of the ocean.
The final animation serves as a flexible digital asset, designed for videos, presentations, and social media communication. It strengthens Salatia’s visual identity by blending traditional design principles with emerging tools, creating a piece that feels both modern and authentic a visual expression of Salatia’s spirit brought to life through motion and technology.
